Live 1:1 & pairs ACT preparation
ACT Prep Online: Live Small Classes
Accuracy first, then speed
The ACT is a fast test. Most students know more than their first score shows, and lose marks to timing. Our live ACT classes, 1:1 or in pairs, fix content gaps first, then train pacing section by section through regular timed practice.

ACT subjects we teach
Every class is planned around your child's own syllabus, school pace and exam date.
ACT English
Grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and choosing clear, concise wording.
ACT Math
Pre-algebra, algebra, coordinate and plane geometry, and trigonometry, with shortcuts for common question types.
ACT Reading
Reading passages quickly, finding evidence and handling inference questions.
ACT Science
Reading graphs, tables and experiment summaries, and comparing viewpoints. This section tests reasoning with data more than recalled facts.
Pacing and timing
A plan for each section: how long to spend, when to move on and when to guess.
SAT or ACT?
A comparison based on a practice test for each, so your child prepares for the one that suits them better.
How our ACT preparation works
- 1
Start with a diagnostic
The first classes find out exactly which ACT topics are secure and which are not, so no time is spent on what your child already knows.
- 2
Teach the concept, then the exam
Each weak topic is taught properly first. Only then do we move to exam-style questions, so marks come from understanding and not from memorised steps.
- 3
Practise with real question styles
Students work through past-paper style questions, learn how marks are awarded, and practise writing answers the way examiners expect.
- 4
Timed practice and review
Closer to the exam, classes include timed sections. Every mistake is reviewed and sorted: a gap in knowledge, a misread question, or a timing problem.
- 5
Parents stay informed
After each class you can see what was covered and what comes next, so you always know how preparation is going.

ACT tutoring: common questions
Universities that ask for a test generally accept either. The best way to choose is to try a practice test of each and compare how your child feels and scores. The teacher can help with this in the first classes.
The ACT has been changing its format, and the Science section is optional on the newer version of the test. Check the official ACT website and the requirements of the universities your child is applying to.
