Live 1:1 & pairs A-Level preparation
A-Level Online Tutoring: Live Small Classes
Depth, exam technique and a steady plan for AS and A2
A-Levels go much deeper than IGCSE, and the jump catches many students by surprise. Our small live A-Level classes (1:1 or pairs) rebuild any shaky foundations, teach each topic to the depth the exam needs, and practise the longer, multi-step questions that decide the top grades.

How our A-Level preparation works
- 1
Start with a diagnostic
The first classes find out exactly which A-Level topics are secure and which are not, so no time is spent on what your child already knows.
- 2
Teach the concept, then the exam
Each weak topic is taught properly first. Only then do we move to exam-style questions, so marks come from understanding and not from memorised steps.
- 3
Practise with real question styles
Students work through past-paper style questions, learn how marks are awarded, and practise writing answers the way examiners expect.
- 4
Timed practice and review
Closer to the exam, classes include timed sections. Every mistake is reviewed and sorted: a gap in knowledge, a misread question, or a timing problem.
- 5
Parents stay informed
After each class you can see what was covered and what comes next, so you always know how preparation is going.
A typical A-Level study plan
| When | What classes focus on |
|---|---|
| Start of AS year | Bridge the gap from IGCSE and keep pace with school topic by topic. |
| Before AS exams | Topic revision and timed AS papers. |
| A2 year | Teach the harder A2 content while keeping AS topics fresh. |
| Final months | Full timed papers across all components and review of repeated mistakes. |
Who it is for
- Students who did well at IGCSE but find the step up to A-Level hard
- Students aiming for top grades for competitive university courses
- Students taking Further Mathematics who want extra depth
